Ward 6 Council Candidates’ Forum – Thank You
The Capitol Hill Public Schools Parent Organization (CHPSPO) thanks Councilmember Tommy Wells and candidate Kelvin Robinson, who did a fantastic job at the Candidates’ Forum held on August 24, 2010. Our goal was for our members and the community to hear their views on issues of special significance to families. We feel that goal was met splendidly.
We are grateful to our moderator, Mark Segraves, for his guidance, expertise and overall terrific job of setting the tone and pace for the event.
Finally, a huge thank you to the community, to our partners, Sports on the Hill (SOTH) and Eastern Market Metro Community Association (EMCCA), and our volunteer organizers for making this event such a success.
We hope to continue the discussion around these issues in the weeks and months to come.
